Multi channel spatial sound composition
The acoustic design of the Großes Haus at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck is quite fascinating. Like many historic theaters, great attention has been paid to ensure that sound quality is excellent both on stage and in the audience seating areas.
In a space like this, the acoustics are influenced by several factors: the architecture of the room, the materials used in construction, and the shape of the seating arrangement. One noticeable feature in this theater is the ceiling’s „vaulted“ design, as well as the placement of seats, both of which affect how sound travels.
